MAria Beltran:

A Voice for Working Families and Real Change in the 14th District

Born and raised in the Yakima Valley, Maria Beltran knows what it’s like when families are doing everything they can just to make ends meet. As a kid, when her parents couldn’t afford childcare, she went right along with them to the orchards, learning firsthand what it means to work hard and stay strong.

Maria’s childhood experiences shaped who she is today—a fierce advocate for all families in our community. Now, Maria is running for State Senate to make sure that every single voice in our district is heard in Olympia.

Maria’s Vision for the 14th

Your Health, Your Choice

Maria’s opponent has a history of voting against abortion access in Washington, pushing an agenda that threatens women’s healthcare decisions. Maria won’t let that happen. She’s committed to ensuring that women maintain control over their own bodies and healthcare—because she knows that those decisions should be made by women and their doctors, not the government.

Affordable Childcare for Working Families

Maria gets it—she knows firsthand how tough it is when affordable childcare just isn’t an option. Growing up, she went to the orchards with her parents because they couldn’t afford care, so she’s lived that struggle.

Now, she is fighting to make affordable childcare a reality for every family in the district. Because no parent should have to choose between earning a paycheck and caring for their kids. Maria’s ready to lead the way and make sure working families get the support they deserve.

Safer Streets, Stronger Communities

Our community is dealing with some serious issues—substance abuse, rising crime, domestic violence, and the growing fentanyl crisis. It’s clear that local law enforcement and governments need more resources to tackle these challenges. Maria is ready to step up and fight to bring those much-needed resources to our region so we can keep our neighborhoods safe and support the people on the front lines.

Why Maria? – A Fighter for the 14th District’s Future

Maria Beltran is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and hardworking union members. She grew up right here in the Yakima Valley, attending local schools and becoming the first in her family to graduate from A.C. Davis High School. Maria knows this district inside and out—she’s seen firsthand the struggles that working families face, because her family lived them, too.

Maria’s not here to push a political agenda; she’s here to make real change that benefits the people of the 14th District.

The future of the 14th District depends on all of us.

This November 5th, we have the chance to elect someone who’s been in our shoes, who knows our struggles, and who’s ready to roll up her sleeves and get to work for all of us. Let’s make real change happen by electing Maria Beltran. It’s time for a leader who truly gets it.
